Multi-Groove Blades for Paper Converting: Pitch Tolerance and Spec Selection
Multi-groove blades for tissue and paper converting: GCr15/9CrSi/Cr12MoV steels, tooth pitch ±0.01 mm, runout 0.02 mm, blocks to φ500 mm, OEM specifications.
What Multi-Groove Blades Cut
Multi-groove blades — toothed bottom slitter knives — are used for cutting household paper such as tissue, paper bags and paper rolls. The tooth pattern determines the cut finish, so pitch accuracy is the specification that separates a good blade from an average one.

Precision You Can Specify
• Tooth pitch tolerance held to ±0.01 mm on request.
• Radial runout and axial runout controlled to 0.02 mm.
• Multi-groove knife blocks manufactured up to φ500 mm.
• Production strictly to OEM specification.
Materials and Common Sizes
Typical steels are GCr15, 9CrSi, Cr12MoV, Cr12Mo1V1 and SKD-11, chosen against the abrasiveness of the web and the required regrind interval. Frequently ordered geometries include 200×171×0.8 mm, 250×222×0.8 mm, 200×158×55 mm, 275×245×100 mm, 300×270×88 mm and 310×266×110 mm — and dozens of other standard combinations are available from stock tooling.

How to Order the Right Blade
Send the machine model, the old blade's outer diameter, inner diameter and thickness, plus the tooth count or pitch if known. If you cannot find a standard match, drawings or samples are enough — custom cutting blades are produced exactly to your requirements.
