Large Diameter Rotary Shear Blades for Tissue Log Saws: Specs and OEM Sizing

Large diameter rotary shear blades for tissue log saws: D2 steel at HRC 60-62, low radial runout, φ610 standard sizes, OEM to 1200 mm, matching Futura, MTC, Perini and PCMC.

The Knife That Cuts the Log

Large diameter rotary shear blades are the circular knives mounted on tissue machines and log saws to cut rolled toilet paper, embossed kitchen towel and similar logs. Friction between blade and paper generates real heat at line speed, so the edge must stay sharp and wear-resistant while the blade body runs with minimal radial runout — otherwise the cut face crushes and dust multiplies.

D2 Steel with Controlled Runout

We produce rotary shear blades in DIN 1.2379 (D2) tool steel at HRC 60–62. Because a large outer diameter combined with a thin section tends to distort during heat treatment, blanks are heat treated and then precision ground to keep radial runout low — the property that keeps the cut face clean on high-speed log saws.

Standard Sizes and Custom Range

• Common specifications: φ610×φ68.26×4.76 mm, φ610×φ68.26×3.80 mm, φ610×82.55×4.76 mm and φ610×82.55×3.80 mm.
• Outer diameters up to 1200 mm produced to order.
• 100% inspection before packing; OEM precision to drawing or sample.

Machines We Match

Rotary shear blades are supplied for tissue converting equipment from builders such as Futura, MTC, Perini and PCMC, plus Chinese and other local log saws. Send the machine model and old blade dimensions — outer diameter, bore, thickness and hole pattern — for a drop-in replacement.

Why Buy from ZHONGJIAN TECH
