Woodworking covers two very different cutting problems: solid timber, where grain direction and knots decide the cut, and engineered panels, where the face material decides whether the edge stays intact. The blade has to be chosen for the problem, not for the machine.
This range spans both: TCT blades for general woodworking and aluminium, PCD blades for abrasive engineered panels and long production runs, in diameters from 120 to 550 mm and tooth counts from 16T to 160T.
Solid wood versus panels
Solid wood fails by tearing along the grain, so the tooth has to support the fibre at entry and exit — ATB and Hi-ATB geometries do that, and a higher tooth count gives a cleaner cross-cut. Panels fail by chipping the face laminate, so the tooth has to shear the surface layer before it lifts; TP and pagoda geometries, or a scoring unit, do that.
Choosing the tooth count
Low tooth counts (16T to 24T) clear chips fast and suit ripping and rough cross-cutting. Mid counts (40T to 80T) are the general-purpose band for panel sizing and joinery. High counts (96T to 160T) give the finish needed for veneered and laminated faces, at the cost of feed rate and heat.
TCT or PCD
TCT is the right answer for mixed work, short runs and material that may contain grit or fixings. PCD costs more but holds its edge through months of abrasive panel production, which is where the cost per linear metre drops below carbide.
What to send with an enquiry
Diameter, kerf, plate thickness, bore, tooth count and the material. For panels, say whether one face or both faces are laminated; for solid wood, say whether the cut is rip, cross-cut or both. Machine make and model confirm the arbor and the maximum speed.
Pick the blade for the material and the finish, then confirm it fits the machine.

Frequently asked questions
Does this cutter fit my edgebander?
The bore is given in the specification table above and the machines it is built for are listed in the specification table. Four values decide the fit — outer diameter, height, bore and Z layout — and the machine brand narrows the choice without replacing the measurement. Check the bore and the keyway against your spindle before ordering.
Is it a direct replacement for the OEM part number?
Send the part number engraved on the existing head together with the machine make and model, and the specification is cross-referenced against it.
What happens when the cutting edges dull?
The cutting edges are TCT (tungsten carbide tipped) and PCD (polycrystalline diamond) options. A dull head shows up first as a rougher edge, then as a glue line that opens on every panel. Deal with it on condition rather than on a fixed calendar, because the wear rate depends on the panel material and the feed rate.
Which panels does it cut cleanly?
The requirement in every case is the same: no chipping on the top and bottom face, because the banding covers the edge and not the face. Feed rate, spindle speed and cutter condition all have to match for that to hold.
