Package Cutting Machine Knives: Toothed Blades for Bag Making and Packaging Lines

Package machine knives for bag making, sealing and wrapping lines: D2/M2 toothed blades at HRC 60-66, WEDM tooth profiles, custom lengths to 3000 mm, OEM to drawing.

Which Machines Use Package Cutting Knives

Package cutting machine knives are fitted to bag making machines, sealing machines and packaging machines to slit plastic packaging bags, plastic shells, adhesive tape, film and paper. Blade replacement frequency and line efficiency come down to two things: wear resistance and machining precision — which is why material selection and heat treatment are the critical decisions when buying spares.

D2 and M2 Toothed Blades at HRC 60–66

We produce toothed packaging blades in D2 (SKD-11) and M2 (SKH-51) grades, heat treated to HRC 60–66 and optionally coated. Tooth profiles are cut by computer-controlled wire EDM (WEDM-LS) and then fine ground, so every tooth is accurate, smooth, sharp and burr-free — the difference is visible immediately in seal quality and bag edge appearance.

Precision Details That Reduce Downtime

• Straightness and flatness held to ≤ 0.02 mm across the blade length.
• Fine-ground tooth profile with no burrs to snag film.
• Coating options that further extend edge life on abrasive laminates.
• Hole patterns produced to the machine drawing for direct drop-in replacement.

Custom Tooth Profiles and Lengths

Toothed blades are manufactured from 0.5 mm to 30 mm thick and 60 mm to 3000 mm long, with the tooth profile made strictly to customer drawings or samples — OEM orders welcome. Machines commonly matched include bag making and wrapping lines from builders such as Aquarius, Bosch, CSS, ECM, Ulma, Fuji and FMC.
